The Game and the Governess, by Kate Noble

When a self-centered earl and his secretary change places, all to prove that the earl can get a woman without his earldom, somewhat predictable chaos ensues. This book was a slow starter for me because I disliked our hero and his choices. But as his understanding of how he has relied on his title changes him, he becomes much more appealing, and by the end I was rooting for him and his governess, Phoebe, who thinks he is the earl’s secretary, to make a go of it. 18 and up.
