|I’ve enjoyed all three of the novels in this series, and this one was no exception. These Christian romances, set in the American West, all feature adult heroes and heroines, many struggling through grief and loss, which makes them very relatable.
If this one, our hero Jack has behind him the loss of his wife and son, and our heroine has recently lost her mother, and has newly come to the West from Paris. Her assimilation into the rugged territory has its comic moments as well as drama, and Jack is a wonderful lead.
It is a pleasure to watch Alexander’s characters discover each other. Though these aren’t sexually graphic, they are intended for an adult audience.
