Bacchae and Other Plays: Iphigenia Among the Taurians; Bacchae; Iphigenia at Aulis; Rhesus, by Euripedes

Read The Bacchae from this for my classics book club. Euripedes tells terrific tales, this being one of the more disturbing, but, as is typical with the early Greeks, most of the action happens off-stage and is relayed to the Chorus. Hard going for a contemporary reader, and would be even tougher to watch staged.
